Riding school for children in Dalum, Ulricehamn

This is how it works:
There are no special groups or courses. Riding lessons are provided by appointment. Open year round.

The rides will mainly take place on paths and roads in the surrounding forest.

At each lesson the children will learn how to groom the pony and how to put on the tack. The children will also learn how to care for the pony after the ride.

There are some riding hats available to use but a hat that fits well is the best choice  considering the rider’s comfort and safety.

Parents may walk along during the ride or do their own walks.

Prices 2010
Riding lesson 1,5 hour: 120 SEK

15 minute ride for very small children: 50 SEK

Driving lesson with pony  & cart 1,5 hour: 120 SEK
Driving lesson adults 1,5 hour: 240 SEK

Ride in a pony cart 1,5 hour: 400 SEK 
eg 1 adult and two children or 3-4 children

How to get here from Ulricehamn
By car:
 Drive towards Skövde, through Timmele. Before you reach Dalum keep looking for a yellow roadsign to the left “Nycklagärde”. Turn left –be careful! – and drive 1,5 kilometres towards Nycklagärde. You’ll find a red mailbox on the right side of the road. Turn left at that mailbox, up the hill and then you are at Hagalyckan.

By bus:
Västtrafik bus nr 900. The name of the bus stop is “Solåker”.

By bike:
There is a bicycle path from Ulricehamn where you can ride your bikes safely to the road of “Nycklagärde”.
